Middle East Initiative

The University of Maine and the School of Policy and International Affairs ( SPIA) are embarking on educational initiatives to offer a range of programs and exchanges with universities and research institutions in the Middle East. Faculty and researchers from the School of Policy and International Affairs will serve as primary resources for these exchanges. The principal goal of the Middle East initiative is to promote international cultural understanding and respect between and within the Middle East and with Americans, other nations and cultures.
