To all our alumni and friends:

The School of Policy and International Affairs (SPIA) at the University of Maine relies on private support for scholarships, student group support, and outreach activities.  These gifts help to grow the quality of students and programs on policy and international affairs.  Your support of SPIA makes a difference in the lives of our students and in the ability of the School to pursue opportunities in international arenas.  Each gift, regardless of size, is leveraged by all of the gifts that are received each year.  Student demand for policy and international affairs continues to grow, and we strive to offer students internships and internationally opportunities that challenge and diversify their experiences and lead to better, more informed citizens.  Faculty and staff are needed to support these programs and to serve student interest.  Private giving is more important than ever to UMaine, providing resources that enable SPIA to continue to improve its reputation regionally, nationally and internationally.

It is also possible to give to the SPIA through the University's Annual Appeal. It can be found by clicking here.  You select a specific designation for your gift, it is shown as SPIA School of Policy & International Affairs in the giving options brochure and on the form.
