Directions to The Hutchinson Center...
From the North:
Take I-95 South to Exit 180 at Hampden. Take a LEFT from the Off Ramp onto the Cold Brook Road and remain on that road until you come to the first traffic light. Bear RIGHT at that light, onto Route 202. Proceed on Route 202 to another traffic light at a T in the road. Turn LEFT and proceed to the Route 1A intersection. Turn RIGHT onto Route 1A and remain on 1A thru Hampden, Winterport, Frankfort, Prospect, and Stockton Springs. At Stockton Springs, Route 1A will meld with Route 1 South. Bear RIGHT onto Route 1 South and remain on that road until you cross the bridge to Belfast. After the bridge, watch for Route 3, Augusta signs on the right. The road will split, you will stay to the RIGHT, and at the next intersection, you will turn RIGHT onto Route 3. Remain on Route 3, pass the big MBNA complex on the Left, and the next sign you see, also on the Left, will be the big blue one with white and gold lettering University of Maine Hutchinson Center. Follow the drive all the way to the back of the building to a large parking lot. The Main entrance is there.
From the South:
Take I-95 North past Augusta to exit 113 for Route 3, Belfast. Continue on Route 3 for 44 miles (About 50 minutes from Augusta) watch for the big blue sign of the Hutchinson Center on the RIGHT. Follow the driveway all the way to the back of the building to a large parking lot. The Main entrance is there.
From the Comfort Inn Ocean's Edge (about 3.5 mi / 6 mins)Head west on ME-3/US-1 toward Porter Rd and cross the bridge to Belfast. After the bridge, watch for Route 3, Augusta signs on the right. The road will split, you will stay to the RIGHT, and at the next intersection, you will turn RIGHT onto Route 3. Remain on Route 3, pass the big MBNA complex on the Left, and the next sign you see, also on the Left, will be the big blue one with white and gold lettering University of Maine Hutchinson Center. Directions to Comfort Inn Ocean's Edge...
From the South:
Take Interstate 95 from Boston. In Maine,
I-95 becomes the Maine Turnpike. Stay on the Maine Turnpike to Exit 113 in Augusta. In Augusta, follow signs to Route 3 East to Belfast (48 miles). Stay on Route 3 (which merges with Route 1), cross under the overpass after Bank of America and take a left. Follow 2.7 miles until you see the sign for our hotel on the right.
From the North:
On I-95 in Bangor, take Exit 45, heading East on I-395. Take the first exit ramp onto the Route 202 bypass to Hampden. At the end of the bypass, turn left onto Route 9. Follow Route 9 to the stop light and at the light turn right onto Route 1A South. Route 1A ends at coastal US Route 1 in Stockton Springs. Merge right onto Route 1 and follow Route 1 to Belfast. Our hotel is 8.5 miles on the left as your enter Belfast.
From Bar Harbor:
Take Route 3 toward Ellsworth (West). Follow Route 3 to Ellsworth where it merges with US Route 1. Follow Route 3/US 1 all the way to Belfast.
